Social Media

OMG Hospitality Group

My primary role at OMG Hospitality Group has been to organically grow the social media presence of all 5 of our OMG restaurants, our parent company and our food truck. This included the use and tracking of paid ads on Facebook and Instagram and creating relationships with local social media influencers as well.

As my role at OMG expanded, I began taking over other marketing functions such as blog writing, internal newsletter creation and creating and maintaining partnerships with surrounding local businesses.

I'm currently managing all of his social media platforms and writing all content for his website. Create Common Good

My experience with social media at Create Common Good was very involved. As the Community Engagement intern, I managed all social media accounts including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin. I was In addition to doing research and following social media blogs, I used Hootsuite as well as the business accounts of each platform to plan and track the reach of each post. Again, I was responsible for the content, copy and design of each post, with the additional aspect of deciding which posts were suitable for the different platforms. I also planned and executed a new social media campaign leading up to the biggest fundraising event of the year, Feed Your Soul 2018.

United Way

United Way of Treasure Valley

One of the primary responsibilities I held throughout my internship and employment at United Way of Treasure Valley (UWTV) was managing their social media media accounts, namely Instagram and Twitter. The first step was researching other nonprofits', both successful and not, social media accounts and determining which content generated the most and least interactions. Using the research, I planned and designed each post while also writing the copy. Each post followed rigorous brand standards but were also customized to fit our specific audience in the Boise area. Throughout my time with UWTV, followers and interactions with posts steadily increased.
